"As a Chemistry lab TA, something strange happened at the end of every semester I taught. One semester I received several gifts from some students, another semester one of my students asked me to sign their lab manual. And then one semester, one student set me up with her best friend and the love of my life. At the end of the last day of class she abruptly said I was her friend's exact type. My response was a confused "okay", and I assumed that would be the end of it. I received an Instagram DM soon after that. I thought the whole thing was strange, but I figured it couldn't hurt (and I liked what I saw on her page) so I messaged her back. We haven't stopped talking since. It started with a date at city walk featuring a terrible bloody mary. I was nervous but the drink helped. I was comfortable around her immediately, but I was still nervous. It continued through a date at a christmas light show featuring a fun light-up cup. I was still nervous, but the drink in the fun light-up cup helped a little. It continued through countless round trips between Tampa and Orlando, featuring an oil change or two. I would've driven any distance to see her, so I didn't mind the 200 mile round trips at all. And it will continue to continue, featuring a good time or two and a life changing event or two. Like getting engaged at the top of the Goldbelt tram on Mount Roberts in Juneau Alaska. We were in the middle of an incredible cruise through Alaska's inner passage, and I was more than just a little nervous that day. But between the big days and the little days, all that really matters is that she's here in my life at all. She makes every day full of love and laughter and happiness." - Abe "So I knew that Meggie, my bestfriend, was taking classes in Tampa even though she lived in Ocala. Randomly one day she sent me a text saying how she thinks that her TA would be my type. She snuck a picture of Abe and I said tell him to hit me up, which she did not do (that day.) Well a month or so goes by and I forgot all about the random TA that lives 2 hours away, until one day Meggie texts me, "I told my TA about you." So in my head Im like what the actual hell? But Meggie so gracefully gave me Abes Instagram and I sent him a DM. About 3 DAYS later he sent me a message back. I was in California for Thanksgiving and talking to him throughout my days there just getting to know eachother and one night he said something that made me smile and my mom asked who I was talking to. I was hesitant to say something because I didn't want to jinx that I was talking to a boy incase it didn't work out but here we are, getting married! About a weekish of texting went by and we set up our first date. I was pretty nervous and I had a guilty feeling of, "maybe I won't like him and he just drove 2 hours to hangout with me." But our first date went so well, even to the point of me trauma dumping the entire night at dinner. We then saw eachother about a week later and then we weren't going to see eachother for a bit after since it was Christmas and I went back home for 2 weeks. Well Abe wanted to see me so badly he drove 4 hours ( technically 6 with holiday traffic) just to hangout in Royal Palm with me for the night. That night we went to Bonefish with my bestfriend Sam. I was so afraid of starting something new, I really didn't want to get hurt again, but every single day, to this day, Abe shows me how love is really meant to feel. I have never been this in love, and I thank God everyday for Meggie totally getting it right on her first try, even hundreds of miles away." - Camille
