Old San Juan, also known as Viejo San Juan, is a historic district in San Juan, Puerto Rico that's known for its rich history, vibrant culture, and romantic atmosphere. Some of our favorites: -Castillo El Morro- large fortress and citadel in the historic district -La Factoria - an iconic cocktail bar -Barrachina- the first piña colada was "allegedly" made here
Great little wine bar and small plates in Old San Juan
Excellent Mexican restaurant
We love the lobby bar at the Condado Vanderbilt, especially around sunset!
One of the world's best cocktail bars - and a must for late night dancing!
The OG home of the Piña Colada!
Wonderful for lunch and brunch
Plan a day trip to the only tropical rainforest in the U.S. National Forest System. You'll find trails leading to beautiful waterfalls and mountain views. Dress for hiking!
If you're heading to El Yunque, you can't miss a stop at the Kioskos de Luquillo for some sustenance. Some of the best meals we have had in PR are at these 'stalls'. Personally, we love Nativa. Don't miss trying conch arepas and chillo frito!
