Train
Trains to the City from the Airports
You can easily take the train from both Midway and O'Hare to get to downtown Chicago in under 40 minutes. All CTA stations accept tap-to-pay, via a credit card, debit card, or phone. You do not need to buy a Ventra Transit Card. Once you reach baggage claim at both airports, look for signs that say CTA to City. Follow those signs and get on the Blue Line from O'Hare or Orange Line from Midway. If you are staying at the Kimpton Gray, take the train to the city and get off at Washington from O'Hare and Adams and Wabash from Midway. From both stops, it's less than a 10 minute walk to the Kimpton Gray located at 122 W. Monroe Street. If you are not staying at the Kimpton Gray, put in the address of your hotel to Google Maps and follow the directions on what stop to get off at.
