Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! Our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

What's the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Ceremony & Reception will be outdoors (tented) & cocktail hour will be indoors.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around half an hour. Guests can head to the Atrium for d'oeuvres and drinks.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive half an hour before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Parking is free - please follow signs when you get to the hotel.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Deadline is May 31st. Please mail back your RSVP card.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Yes, food and drinks will be served at the reception. We will have a full sit down meal.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

Please contact us ahead of time if you have any special dietary needs.

We are registered here on Zola - see our registry page on the tab above. We are also registered at Bed Bath and Beyond.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

During the ceremony, please be mindful of the photographer but otherwise, yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #TheReisisHistory so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

If you need, you can book a room at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich for the night.

What COVID precautions are you taking?

Answer

We are closely following CT guidelines. Guest list is limited to less than 70 people. Tables will have less seats for social distancing & seating by family. Guests should wear masks as needed and when walking around. Sanitizer will be available for all guests. Guests are encouraged to take the vaccine if it's safe & available. Guest are encouraged to self monitor for any symptoms prior to the event.
