Where will the wedding take place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place at Hotel Hacienda San Jose, located just outside Pereira, Colombia — approximately 15 minutes from the Pereira airport.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:00 PM. We recommend arriving 30 minutes early to get settled and enjoy the surroundings.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors. The reception will be outdoors but under a roof.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Women: Long dresses. Solid colors or prints are both welcome. Men: Formal suit without a tie. Guayaberas are also welcome.

Which airport should I fly into?

Answer

The closest airport is Matecaña International Airport (PEI). It’s easiest to connect through Bogotá (BOG), which offers over 30 daily flights to Pereira. PEI also has connections from Cartagena, Medellín, and Panama, though with fewer options.

How do I get around once I arrive?

Answer

Uber works very well in the area. There are also taxis available at the airport that can take you directly to your hotel upon arrival.

How long should I plan to stay?

We recommend staying at least a few days (around 3) to truly experience the beauty of Colombia’s Coffee Region. For ideas, check out the “Things to Do” tab on the website.

Do you have a registry?

We do not have a traditional registry. We’ve created a honeymoon fund, which is available on this website. Gifts are not expected, but we truly appreciate any contribution to our honeymoon.

Will there be dancing and alcohol?

Yes to both! There will be dancing, music, and alcohol to celebrate together.

Yes! You’re welcome to take photos and capture memories throughout the day.

This will be an adults-only celebration, with the exception of some children from our immediate family.
