On March 21, 2020, we were set to get married in a big ceremony surrounded by family and friends. But, with the world changing due to the pandemic, we made the decision to elope instead. We chose a beautiful nature preserve, Creamer's Field, just down the street from our home in Fairbanks, Alaska. The ceremony was intimate, meaningful, and perfect in its simplicity, though we wished we could have shared it with everyone we loved. In the five years since, Matt and Caitlin’s journey has been anything but predictable. We relocated to Madison, Mississippi, where we’ve built a life, embraced new adventures, and welcomed two beautiful daughters—Harper and Caroline—into our family. And now, after all this time, we're finally having the celebration we've been waiting for. Our vow renewal is more than just a celebration of our love—it’s a chance to include our girls in this special moment and to share it with family and friends who’ve been a part of our story from the very beginning. We’re beyond excited to celebrate together, surrounded by the people who mean the most to us. 2020 owes us a party.
