Cameron is the peanut butter to my jelly, the milk to my brownies, and the calm to my storm. When I met him 5 years ago at UNC Wilmington I would never have guessed that the tall handsome man who made sure I got home safe if class got out after dark would someday become my life partner, but I am so glad we have landed here. He is strong and patient and when my world gets a little too crazy for me to handle on my own I can always count on him to be my anchor. Every time we planned and re-planned our wedding due to the constantly changing restrictions and recommendations during this unprecedented time, he has been by my side with constant re-assurances and an unwavering faith that our wedding would turn out exactly how it was always meant to be, no matter the circumstances. He is the best dog dad in the world and treats our little Willow like a princess. I can always count on him to not only fix things that I accidentally break, but to make them better than they were originally. He loves my family and never hesitates to help my dad fix the boat or plant the garden. He is passionate about what he loves, kind, and, perhaps most importantly, welcomes all of the stray animals I bring home with open arms. I could not imagine my world without him in it and I am so lucky I do not have to.

Jessie is the perfect person to counter balance me. She is everything I need her to be despite whatever mood or headspace I am in. She genuinely makes an effort to understand the hardships I've faced while being respectful and genuine. She brings me a real level of trust that is hard to find in the world. Jessie is the spring chicken in our relationship and brings smiles and good energy when I'm feeling like an old man. She keeps me on my toes and constantly comes up with fun little road trips and things for us to do together with Willow. She is an outstanding dog mama. She keeps up with the shot records and the technical stuff for all the critters she brings home. She smothers them with loving cuddles and keeps them groomed and clean. She also has an unhealthy habit of buying way too many chew toys. Jessie has patience and a big heart with a lot of love to give and I look forward to spending the rest of my days by her side.
