Do I Need a Rental Vehicle?

Answer

If you arrange a shuttle to/from the airport to Telluride, a rental vehicle may not be necessary, depending on your lodging location. Please contact your lodging about shuttle services around Mountain Village & the Town of Telluride. Plus, the free gondolas offer a fantastic way to explore the area! Mountain Lodge Telluride - Complimentary hotel shuttle operates every day between 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. and offers service to Mountain Village Center and Market Plaza *only*. Airport shuttles can be booked direct or through our concierge by email or by calling (970) 369-6116. Bear Creek Lodge - Complimentary shuttle to the gondola, market or Mountain Village core only. Contact front desk (888) 539-1867 for airport transportation.

Question

Will transportation be provided to and from the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Depending on your lodging choice, most accommodations offer shuttle services to the Station Market Plaza Gondola. From there, the gondola will transport guests to the ceremony where you will get off for the ceremony at the San Sophia Station Gondola, and the reception at Tomboy Tavern is just a short walk from the base of the Mountain Village Station Gondola stop.

How to Get Around the Town of Telluride & Mountain Village

Answer

There is a free gondola system that operates between the Town of Mountain Village & Telluride. Regular gondola hours are 6:30 a.m. to midnight. Dial-A-Ride: Free shuttle service. Call 970-728-8888 to schedule a ride. Free shuttles run throughout Mountain Village every half hour between 7 a.m. and midnight during summer and winter. For more information visit the Town of Mountain Village website - www.townofmountainvillage.com In Telluride, the free Galloping Goose shuttle buses run every 20 minutes between 7 a.m. and midnight daily. Stops are located every few blocks.

Is The Wedding Outside?

The ceremony is outdoors, and the reception is both indoor/outdoors. Don't forget a coat or wrap! There is a restroom walking distance from the ceremony location. The path accessing the ceremony location is unpaved.

Casual welcome party at Tom & Molly’s cabin on Thursday from 5-7pm, for those in town and would like to join. Address: 7 Stonegate Dr, Mountain Village CO 81435. Request shuttle by calling 970-728-8888.

Can I Take Photos During the Ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you kindly put your phone and cameras away during the ceremony, we want you all to be present with us in the moment. We have a professional photographer capturing the ceremony for us. Other than the ceremony, yes! Please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like.

Is there a farewell event Sunday?

No Sunday plans. We want to give everyone time to relax, travel home, and soak in the weekend memories!

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you! Please note 1 alcoholic beverage at sea level is equivalent to 2 drinks at Telluride's elevation.
