What is the attire for the welcome party?
Answer
Elevated casual, chic yet comfortable! The welcome party will be outside, so please bring a jacket since it can get cool once the sun goes down

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes, tons of free parking around the venue! If you would like to uber home and leave your car overnight, you can definitely do so - just let the staff at the Falconwood know. We are in a state park, so they will ensure you do not get a ticket for parking overnight! We also recommend scheduling your uber ahead of time if you know you would like to take one home. You can pick up your car anytime the next day.

Head to 290 Slide Bar and Grill after the reception! They have great wings and happy hour deals for beer and wine :)

What time does the ceremony start?
Answer
The ceremony will start at 4:30pm. Please plan to arrive at The Falconwood by 4:15. There is occasional traffic going over the Grand Island bridge, so please give yourself plenty of time on the day.

Will the ceremony & reception be outdoors or indoors?
Answer
Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside in the front lawn of the venue, so please select footwear accordingly, and bring a jacket since it can get cool in the evening! The reception will be a mixture of indoor & outdoor patio spaces.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Although we love your kids, we've chosen to make our wedding an adults only event, with the exception of close family. Thank you for understanding.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
We have made a block of rooms at The Mosey in Williamsville, but we also recommend The Curtiss Hotel or the Buffalo Marriot at Harborcenter if you'd like to stay in downtown Buffalo
