Can I take pictures at the church?

Answer

As much as we'd like you to have access to pictures immediately, we would like for the ceremony to be "unplugged". This allows all of our loved ones to be present, in the moment, with us. We have hired very talented photographers to capture these moments and we will share photos as soon as we receive them from the photographer!

Question

There is time between the end of the ceremony and cocktail hour; is this intentional?

Answer

During this time, the family and wedding party will be taking professional pictures. The bride, groom, and wedding party would like to partake in cocktail hour and mingle with our guests, and this arrangement allows them to do so. You may choose to go back to your hotel, grab a drink, or hang out with those friends/family you don't see often. Cocktail hour will start promptly at 5:00 pm, so be sure to be to duPont Country Club by then!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask that our guests adhere to a FORMAL dress code. Please reserve colors such as white, ivory, champagne and burgundy for the wedding party. Below is a guide for what is acceptable to wear. If you are unsure about what to wear, please also look online for guidance. Formal and black-tie optional are relatively interchangeable terms, although we ask that men DO NOT wear tuxedos. Ladies: - Evening gown (floor length) - Fancy cocktail dress Men: - Black, dark blue or dark grey suit - White dress shirt - Conservative tie/bowtie

Can I bring a plus 1?

If you are invited with a plus 1, the invitation will be addressed as follows... Example: Victoria Crisona and guest OR Victoria Crisona and Cameron Ernst As much as we'd like to invite everyone with a plus 1, unfortunately we cannot accommodate that request. Don't worry, you will have a great time with or without a plus 1; we will make sure of it! Thank you so much for understanding!

Can I bring my children with me?

Answer

We love kids, don't get us wrong, but this event is adults only. You may choose to bring your children to the ceremony at Holy Angels Church, but please make arrangements for them to stay elsewhere during the reception at duPont Country Club. Trust me, you will have have much more fun at the reception if you aren't worried about "babysitting" your kids. Enjoy your kid-free night out!
