FAQs

A few quick details to help you plan—we promise it’s nothing complicated.
Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:00 PM. Please plan to arrive 15–20 minutes early so we can start on time.

Question

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting), followed by a mixed indoor/outdoor cocktail hour and an indoor reception.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, parking will be available on-site.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We recommend Holiday Inn Johnstown-Gloversville by IHG. There are also many nearby Airbnbs, including options within walking distance or a short drive to the venue.

Question

Is transportation provided?

Answer

We will not be providing transportation, so please plan ahead and arrange a designated driver or rides with other guests if needed.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire is requested (we love when people dress up—it’s a wedding, after all!), but semi-formal is perfectly fine too. Please, no jeans.

Question

What kind of shoes should I wear?

Answer

Since the ceremony is outdoors, we recommend choosing shoes suitable for grass or uneven ground.

Question

Will the ceremony be unplugged?

Answer

Yes. We kindly ask that you put away phones and cameras during the ceremony and be fully present with us.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but our wedding will be adults only.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Plus ones are only included if specifically listed on your invitation or RSVP.

Question

Will your dog be part of the wedding?

Answer

Yes! Our dog will be joining us for the ceremony. 🐾

Question

Will there be other events?

Answer

After the rehearsal, we’ll be at a local bar/restaurant for a casual hangout. If you’re in town, feel free to stop by for a drink and say hi!

Question

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please note any dietary restrictions when you RSVP, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
