South Slope Brewing District
The hip, compact South Slope Brewing District is a revitalized industrial area with craft breweries and taprooms pouring small-batch ales, IPAs, and sours made with local botanicals and mountain water. Many spots offer outside seating, host live music or other events, and serve food, from BBQ to beer-glazed doughnuts. The district is scattered with colorful murals, contemporary art galleries, and craft studios. River Arts District
The River Arts District, or RAD, is a creative hub along the French Broad River. Former warehouses and mills, many with colorful exterior murals, contain glassblowing, pottery, and other artisan studios, plus indie art galleries. The buzzing dining and nightlife scene encompasses hip cafes, BBQ restaurants, craft breweries, and cozy, chilled-out music venues like the long-running Grey Eagle. New Belgium Brewing Company
Brewery on the French Broad River in Asheville with a nice deck area and delicious beers!
The Biltmore Estate & Biltmore Village
The Biltmore Estate was George W. Vanderbilt's iconic French Renaissance chateau featuring beautiful gardens, a winery with tastings and tours, and Antler Village. www.biltmore.com Biltmore Village is a charming, leafy enclave originally created to house employees of George Vanderbilt’s sprawling Biltmore Estate. The Cathedral of All Souls is a Romanesque Revival landmark, while stuccoed cottages contain jewelry stores, galleries, and upscale boutiques. Craggy Gardens on the Blue Ridge Parkway
Hike the Craggy Gardens Trail, climbing through a beautiful high-elevation forest filled with rhododendron, wild blueberries and wildflowers to stunning summit views just off the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Massive nature preserve featuring mountains, waterfalls, lakes, and hiking trails.

One of the largest breweries in the area. Located near the airport and includes a taproom, tours, and restaurant.
