Cam and I met when we were seventeen at the Luke Bryan Farm Tour in Macon. I knew who Cam was even though we had never been introduced. He was best friends with my cousin, Matthew. At the concert, he walked up to me and said, "Don't I know you?" I responded, "I think you're best friends with Matt. He suggested we take a picture to send to him. We still have that photo today!

I planned for us to go to the Luke Combs concert in Nashville months in advance. We ended up flying to Tennessee and were having a blast on Broadway. As the concert was getting closer, I tried to pull up our tickets on Ticketmaster. It showed I had no upcoming events. I panicked and then remembered I bought the tickets (pit passes) from Vivid Seats.I logged on to Vivid Seats and saw my tickets had been delivered by mail and could not be reprinted. Then I remembered I had received them months earlier and had locked them in the safe at Cam's house. I tried to buy other tickets but the show was almost sold out. The only seats available online were far away and ridiculously overpriced. When I told Cam about leaving the tickets, he first thought I was kidding but could tell by my face that I was not. Cam then panicked! We called our families and luckily his parents were able to send us a photo of the tickets. He proposed during the song "Houston We've Got A Problem." I can't imagine why that song, can you? He had planned to propose during "Better Together" but got nervous that Luke may not sing that song. Even though sometimes we may have a problem haha our lives are definitely better together!
