Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Riley Yunker and Cameron Sizemore
Dear Family & Friends, Welcome to the desert! We are so happy you’re here and can’t wait to celebrate our wedding with you. Thank you for traveling to be part of this weekend — it truly means the world to us. We hope you have a little time to relax, explore, and soak up the sunshine while you’re here. La Quinta and the overall Palm Springs area has so much to offer, whether you’re in the mood for adventure, great food, or simply unwinding by the pool. Below are a few of our favorite recommendations to help you make the most of your stay. With so much love, Cam and Riley

La Quinta Restaurants

• Adobe Grill – great Mexican food and margaritas • Casa Mendoza – casual and delicious Mexican food • Arnold Palmer House – classic upscale American cuisine • Morgan’s in the Desert – romantic, upscale dining • Other spots in Old Town La Quinta: Grill on Main, DSRT Club, RDRNNR (Roadrunner), Lola’s and Stuft Pizza (takeout) are all good. Chula’s, Keedy’s and Beautiful Day are good for breakfast.

Palm Desert (El Paseo) Restaurants

Often called the “Rodeo Drive of the Desert,” El Paseo is perfect for a stylish lunch or dinner with great people-watching. • Tommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar – relaxed island vibes and crowd-pleasing dishes • Eddie V’s Prime Seafood – elegant seafood, steaks, and live jazz • Piero’s Pizza Vino – authentic Italian and Neapolitan-style pizzas fired in a wood-burning oven • The Daily Grill – reliable American classics for lunch or dinner • Others - Jillian’s, Mitch’s, Porto Via…so many choices!

Golf Options

• PGA West (La Quinta) – multiple world-class courses • SilverRock Resort – stunning mountain backdrops • Indian Wells Golf Resort – beautiful and guest-friendly • Desert Willow Golf Resort – popular and well-maintained

Nightlife & Drinks

Palm Desert • Little Bar – upscale dive bar (also amazing burgers) • The Red Barn – Popular, buzzy bar & club featuring live music acts & DJs, plus crafted cocktails • The Nest - IYKYK La Quinta / Indian Wells • The Sandbar - decent dinner spot or just go for good cocktails and live music that can end in a sing-a-long • Neil’s Lounge - local dive-bar favorite known for its laid-back vibe, friendly crowd, strong drinks, and fun karaoke nights

Other Things To Do

La Quinta Art Festival

La Quinta Art Festival

As luck would have it, the La Quinta Art Festival is February 26-March 1, held in the La Quinta Civic Center with over 185 artists, food, cocktails and live music. In Old Town itself are charming shops, coffee spots, restaurants and art galleries.

Spa Time

Spa Time

There are several spas in the Palm Springs area to choose from - The Spa at Sec-he is new and has the above salt-room as well as mineral baths. JW Marriott and Agua Caliente Sunstone are also great options.

Eldorado Polo Club

Eldorado Polo Club

Sunday Polo is one of the must-do activities in the desert during the winter months. If you have never experienced a polo match, we guarantee it is a hoot. Half time divot stomp gives very Pretty Woman energy — minus the shopping montage…maybe just do both!
