We met at a Crawford County basketball game in January of 2016. Rayesa was a cheerleader standing by the concession stand with her friend who would later introduce the two through Cameron's friend. This story isn't perfect because we did not talk to each other at first, however one random night Cameron called Rayesa out of curiosity and we stayed on the phone for hours (6 to be exact). From there we began talking more and developed feelings. We didn't actually make an official relationship date, it was just kind of understood and happened organically. After Rayesa graduated from High school, we moved to Atlanta together while Rayesa attended college. We decided to truly let go of our past, joined a church together and began a journey of serving the Lord together. This was the best decision we could have ever made, and we became inseperable. Basically, we have done everything together and are definitely two peas in a pod. Then the day came.. Rayesa's college graduation was 2 days away and Cameron knew that it was finally time to secure their future together in God's eyes. On May 13th of 2021 Cameron proposed and Rayesa said.. YES. The couple you see today is not a perfect couple but a couple that battled through thick and thin together and no matter the circumstances, kept God first. They are truly best friends and on April 2nd, 2022 they become best friends that get to spend the rest of their lives together, in purpose. Thank you for witnessing and being a part of our story (:
