FAQs

Question

Will there be transportation?

Answer

Yes! There will be one bus that can transport people from the hotel (Best Western Plus) to the venue (VT Farmhouse Flowers) and back. However, it only holds 50 people and will operate for 1 hour before the wedding (one trip from the hotel to the venue at 1:45ish and then back to the hotel to pick up the second round of people for 2:30) and wont pick anyone up until 10:30 PM where there will be two rounds of pick up as well.

Question

How much parking is at the venue?

Answer

There is limited parking at the venue (up to 65 vehicles) so we are asking that if you do not ride the bus to the venue that you do your best to carpool.

Question

I volunteered to grow flowers for the wedding but have no clue how to get them to you! What do I do?

Answer

If you volunteered to grow flowers or are simply offering up your beautiful flowers for us to use, you have a couple options! Liv will be available on Thursday the 5th of September for most of the day to come pick up flowers from your garden. Liv will also be available early Friday morning (think 9:00am-ish) to swoop by and do a quick pickup (Randolph, Williamstown, Brookfield, Northfield, Barre, and Montpelier) before heading to the venue to set up. You can also meet Liv somewhere to give them to her if that's more convenient for you! Either way, please text Liv or Caren if you have flowers to donate to the wedding! The bride is ever so grateful for you :)

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

No, this is an 18 and over event. No exceptions will be made.

Question

What food will be served?

Answer

Mo's Backyard BBQ will be catering our wedding. There will be pulled pork, chicken bomb bites, seasonal veggies, cheese, smoked mac and cheese, among other small bites and treats.

Question

How long is the event?

Answer

The bride will be walking down the aisle at 3PM and the bus will start picking people up for 10:30. Expect to be there for a couple hours if you plan on taking the bus from the hotel and back but feel free to leave when convenient for you if you drove yourself to the venue (we wont be offended).

Question

What drinks are available?

Answer

There will be a cash bar serving cocktails, water, select soda's, and signature cocktails. Signature cocktails are "The Loki", (Whiskey and Coke) and "The Cana", (Raspberry Sour Key). No outside alcoholic beverages allowed. Feel free to bring your own fountain drinks, though!

Question

What hotel did you put a block in for?

Answer

We have a hotel block at Best Western Plus Waterbury / Stowe which you can call and request to book a room under Boucher/Slayton. Each room is $269.00 per night and has two double beds. You can call them at (802)244-7822 or you can text me at (802)585-5969 and I can text you the direct link to book a room online.

Question

Will there be music?

Answer

Yes! We found a great DJ on our wedding vendor hunt known as Above and Beyond DJ. They will be there until 10 PM.

Question

Will there be anything else to do at the wedding?

Answer

There will be many lawn games to play for those that don't really like to dance. Jenga, Connect 4, Cornhole, Beer Pong (though we will be playing with water in the cups), and probably other games we haven't thought of yet. Much fun will be had!

For all the days along the way
