2012

We first met at Arizona College Prep in the seventh grade. We had band together - Cameron played percussion and Meg played the clarinet. Cameron immediately affectionately gave Meg the nickname 'Squidward' and Meg returned the favor with the nickname 'Cammy Cakes'. From then on, we remained close friends throughout middle school.

2014

We continued at Arizona College Prep for high school. On the first day of school, Cameron debuted a new haircut, and Meg folded immediately. Cameron asked Meg to be his date to freshman homecoming shortly after, and the rest is history. We began officially dating on November 7, 2014, despite the fact that Cameron's bright idea for a first date was a horror movie. It worked though - he got to hold Meg's hand. We continued dating throughout high school and simply had the best time with each other. We went to all the school dances and events, participated in multiple sports and attended each other's games. Don't forget when Cameron was the first-ever Mr. ACP! We are so lucky to have experienced these years together.

the unspoken years (oops!)

2020

Although we went our separate ways for college, we failed spectacularly at being apart. Looking back, we now know the universe was squishing us together against our will. We decided on the same university, the same career path, got the same job in college, and even ended up in the same friend groups. In 2020, Meg had the opportunity to move to Florida to participate in the Disney College Program. Even with hundreds of miles separating us, we were still connected by that invisible string. When COVID hit later that year, we immediately reconnected in person and have been attached at the hip ever since. We were lucky enough to feel like we picked up exactly where we left off.

2023

After graduating from Northern Arizona University in 2022, we both returned to our hometown to begin our careers as elementary school teachers. We eventually moved in together at the beginning of 2023, and quickly adopted our wonderful girlies Jeff and Bash.

2025

In May, Cameron FINALLY asked Meg to marry him. ;) We cannot wait to hang out together for the rest of our lives!!!!!!!!
