Visit the town of Trinidad
If you come to Humboldt County you have to see Trinidad. Undoubtedly our best beach town, pretty much year-round you can find Beau on one of the dozens of different beaches! Type in Scenic Dr on your map, and if you go to town check out Beachcomber Cafe and then drive down to Trinidad State Beach. Here's a few of our other favorite beaches: * Moonstone beach * College Cove (beautiful but steep hike down, it has steps all the way though) * Luffenholtz
Arcata Community Forest
Here's our favorite place to go on a redwood walk! If you're in Arcata just type in Arcata Community Forest on maps and follow the road up either to the playground or parking lot. If you have kids with you here's the Beaus favorite playground in Humboldt.
Sequoia Park Zoo
Sequoia Park is a cool place to see. If you go inside to the zoo try the redwood sky walk, and if not go for a walk behind the zoo on the trails.
Arcata Plaza
Farmers market starts @9am and is a Humboldt staple.
