What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM. Doors will open at 4:30, so please plan to arrive early to allow time to be seated before the ceremony begins.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! We are requesting a formal (black-tie optional) dress code. Wear whatever color you would like, but please no white.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited capacity, we can only accommodate those who are formally invited. If you received a plus one, it will be indicated on your invitation and RSVP card.

Where can I park?

Answer

We want to make parking as easy as possible for everyone attending our wedding at The Rose! Here are the available options, all within walking distance: 1. North Parking Structure Located just north of The Rose on 12th Street and Jackson Street. This is a convenient option—just a short walk from the venue. Pay station is located at the northeast corner of the structure. 2. South Parking Structure Found one block east of The Rose at 13th Street and Jackson Street. It’s also very close, just across Washington Avenue. Pay station is at the northwest corner of this structure. 3. Surface Parking Lot Situated between 12th and 13th Streets, just south of Washington Avenue and north of Arapahoe Street. There are multiple entrances along Arapahoe and several pay stations nearby.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We’ve decided to make our wedding and reception an adults-only event, with the exception of the little ones in the wedding ceremony. Invitations will specify which children are invited. We appreciate your understanding and hope you’ll see this as a chance for a fun date night!

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be dearly missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP 'no' so we can plan accordingly.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an 'unplugged' ceremony. This means we ask that all phones and other devices be put away and set to silent or turned off during the ceremony, so that all guests can be 100% present with us during this time. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos as you like, and we promise to share our ceremony photos as soon as possible!

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be held on-site at our venue in Golden, Colorado. Everything will be indoors.

Where should I stay for the wedding weekend?

Answer

Our venue is conveniently located between two different hotels within walking distance, along with many more options in the area. Please visit our "travel" tab for a list of nearby hotels.

Is there a designated smoking area?

Answer

Smoking and vaping of any kind are strictly prohibited inside the venue and in front of the venue. A designated smoking area will be available at the back for those who wish to use it. Please be aware that Golden has a strict smoking policy, so we kindly ask that you smoke only in designated areas within the city. Thank you for your understanding!
