How We Met

Fate For Sure

In October, after Hurricane Helene swept through the Appalachian Mountains, God’s timing became beautifully clear. Cameron, living in Texas at the time, was sent on storm assignment to restore power in Southwest Virginia—right near Lindsey’s home. When her power went out, their paths crossed, and what seemed like a coincidence quickly revealed itself as a divine appointment. Though miles often separated them, they leaned on faith, prayer, and constant communication to navigate long distance—both then and now, as Cameron’s work continues to take him out of town. With God at the center, distance only strengthened their bond. After Cameron moved to East Tennessee the following May, their lives grew even more intertwined. Their children have since met, their families have blended, and with grateful hearts, they step forward trusting God’s plan as they begin their forever together.
