We will provide shuttles from our room blocks in both Chicago and Evanston.

Parking is extremely limited, so we strongly encourage you to take the provided shuttles to help us keep things on schedule and avoid the unpredictability of Chicago traffic. For guests who will be driving in from the suburbs, valet service will be available.

Great question! Chicago is a true wild card. Days are USUALLY warm and evenings are cool, so we recommend a light wrap to cover bare shoulders and sunglasses for the outdoor ceremony. That said, check the forecast before you pack.

Answer
Over the course of the weekend, we will be both indoors and outdoors. The wedding ceremony will (hopefully) be outdoors. The cocktail hour and the reception will take place indoors. All events will be on paved ground.

Once you arrive at 3:30-3:45 PM, you’re set for the night—we’ll move from our outdoor ceremony straight into an indoor cocktail hour followed by dinner, dancing, and live music all in one place.

We will host a welcome reception for our out-of-town guests on Friday night, but we have no events scheduled for Sunday so that everyone has plenty of time for their travels.

Answer
For Women: A floor-length evening gown is ideal, but a formal cocktail dress or a dressy pantsuit is also appropriate. For Men: A tuxedo is preferred, but a dark suit (navy, charcoal, black) with a simple tie is also great.

Yes, we will have a full selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available throughout the entire evening.

In order to give our guests the biggest experience, we will be having multiple food stations. We encourage you to try everything and go back for seconds (or thirds). There will be options for all dietary restrictions, so please ask the attendants if you have any questions.

Please note any life-threatening allergies in your RSVP so we can prepare accordingly; otherwise, our food stations will feature a wide variety of options for both carnivores and vegetarians.

We LOVE all your kiddos, but guests under 21 cannot be accommodated (aside from the wedding party). Your understanding is appreciated.
