We have been a part of each other's lives and families for many years. We first met back in 2016 at a fire at a friend's house right before our senior year of high school. We instantly hit it off but, given the timing, we decided to just be friends as I (Kendra) was leaving for college. We remained friends when I left for WSU and shortly thereafter, Cameron decided to enlist in the United States Marines Corps to serve his country. For the following 4 years between 2018-2021, we talked every day and maintained a close friendship despite living in different states and different timezones as our lives took us all over the country. In 2021, Cameron was stationed in New York and I took an internship position at Auburn University in Alabama. Moving back into the same time zone (or close enough to) gave us the opportunity to talk even more and, ultimately is what led us to take a chance on a relationship. We started dating in November of 2021, and the rest is history. Cameron proposed on July 11th, 2024 in Ketchikan, Alaska. We are so excited to share this special day with all of our amazing friends and family and hope that you will be able to join us as we step into the next chapter of our lives!
