Our story began in middle school band, where he played trombone, and I played French horn. What started as casual conversations during rehearsals grew into a lasting friendship that carried us through high school. We became closer during band camp at the start of my junior year and his senior year, and that’s when our relationship began. From there, we became inseparable. We attended the same college, and after graduation, moved into our first apartment where we brought home our dog, Archie. We spent seven years making memories together: traveling, watching movies, playing video games, cheering on our favorite Formula 1 drivers (and rooting against each other's favorites), and building our life together. On our seventh anniversary, he popped the question. What began as two awkward middle school kids meeting in band class has turned into a life overflowing with love, laughter, and adventure -- one that has played out in perfect harmony.
