Our wedding will take place on Friday, July 3, 2026 at Mountain Top Resort in Chittenden, Vermont. The ceremony, reception, and all weekend activities will take place right on the resort property.
All guests are invited to stay on-site at Mountain Top Resort for a full wedding weekend experience. Accommodations include lodge rooms, guest houses, and cabins. Staying on the property means you’ll be right in the heart of the celebration and can enjoy all the weekend activities without needing to drive. When booking make sure to say you are booking with the Labrie/Moulton wedding block.
Lodging rates vary depending on the type of room or house, but most lodge rooms and shared guest homes are priced between $300–$350 per night for couples or singles. Each guest is responsible for booking and paying for their own lodging. A two-night minimum is required.
Please RSVP on our wedding website: [Insert Your Wedding Website URL Here]. To reserve your lodging, visit Mountain Top Resort’s website directly at: 👉 https://mountaintopinn.com/accommodations/ Unless you’ve been told otherwise by the bride and groom or Mountain Top Resort, you're welcome to book any available lodging. We’ve reserved six guest houses specifically for families and members of the wedding party. All other couples and single guests are encouraged to book one of the resort’s lodge rooms, which are within walking distance of everything.
Most guests will arrive on Thursday, July 2nd and check out on Saturday, July 4th. Wedding events will begin Thursday evening and continue through Friday night. You’re welcome to extend your stay if you'd like a longer Vermont getaway!
We’ll be hosting a rehearsal dinner Thursday night for some guests and reception dinner Friday night for everyone. Breakfast and lunch are not included but can be purchased at the resort’s Tavern or grab-and-go stations. For those looking to explore locally, we highly recommend Sugar & Spice — a cozy, family-run spot just a short drive from the resort that serves classic Vermont breakfast favorites. Many guest houses also have full kitchens if you'd like to bring your own snacks or groceries.
Yes — we will be hosting an open bar during cocktail hour only. After that, the bar will switch to cash bar for the remainder of the night. Outside of the reception, the resort tavern will be open and available for drinks at your own discretion.
The dress code for the wedding is semi-formal — think cocktail attire or summer wedding chic. The ceremony may be outdoors (weather permitting), so we recommend comfortable shoes for grass or gravel paths, like wedges, block heels, or dressy flats.
Yes! Mountain Top Resort offers on-site parking near the lodge and shuttle service throughout the property. Once you check in, you won’t need to drive — everything is within walking distance or accessible via the resort’s shuttle.
Some accommodations are pet-friendly, but availability is limited. If you’re considering bringing your dog, please contact the resort directly before booking to confirm availability. Dogs may be allowed at the ceremony with prior approval and must be leashed at all times.
So much! The resort offers kayaking, paddleboarding, clay bird shooting, horseback riding, fishing, lawn games, hiking, and more. Guests can also relax at the spa, visit the tavern, hang out at the beach pavilion, or unwind by the fire pits. For a full list of available activities, visit: https://mountaintopinn.com/things-to-do/. If you're looking to explore beyond the resort, Killington Resort is just a short drive away and offers mountain biking, gondola rides, hiking, and other fun summer activities.
Feel free to take personal photos throughout the weekend, but please be respectful of the ceremony and professional photographers. Drones are NOT allowed unless approved in advance by the couple and Mountain Top Resort.
