In 2020, Cameron and I went on a trip to this area of North Carolina and we had a lot of fun adventures. Below is a list of our favorite places that we went, and if you have time during the weekend, feel free to check them out too!

Sliding Rock

Cameron and I had so much fun climbing up the slippery rock steps and sliding down a natural waterslide.

Green River Cove Tubing

5200 Green River Cove Road, Saluda, NC 28773

We had THE MOST fun tubing down the Green River. This trip was adventure-laden with rattlesnake encounters, falling off the tube, a nest of bees, and laughing until our stomachs hurt.

Hawg Wild Smokehouse & Taproom

91 Pisgah Highway, Pisgah Forest, NC 28768

You have to check out Hawg Wild. This was hands down the best BBQ food we've had, ever! It was so good that when we came back up to the area to check out reception venues, we ate here again.

Hemingway's Cuba

15 Page Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801

We love a good rooftop experience. One night on our trip, we took the trip to Asheville (about 45 minutes) and had a fun night downtown. We got to watch the most beautiful sunset over the mountains at this rooftop bar. If you're looking for a fun night out, we definitely recommend taking a trip to Asheville and stopping on by!
