What happens to the wedding in the event of a global pandemic?

Answer

Dear family and friends, Although we anticipated some hurdles to come up in the wedding planning process, we weren’t quite prepared for a global pandemic. The words “in sickness and in health” seem particularly and unexpectedly relevant at the moment. Given the current circumstances, we have decided to postpone our wedding. We want everyone to have the opportunity to attend, and certainly don’t want to put anyone’s well-being at risk. Although inconvenient, we hope you all understand this difficult decision was made with everyone’s best interests in mind. We will do our best to keep everyone up-to-date, but please check the website frequently for information. We love you all and appreciate your understanding. Kaila & Cameron

What is the new wedding date?

Answer

Our wedding is now scheduled for August 22, 2020. All other details, including venue, and hotel accommodations, will remain the same.

What if I already RSVPed for the previous date?

Answer

If you already RSVPed for our previous date, you will need to RSVP again for the new date. Please respond by July 18, 2020. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please forward all complaints to the CDC and WHO.

What precautions will be taken to ensure the health and safety of the guests?

Answer

The Gatehouse has implemented appropriate measures to accommodate a wedding in a post-COVID world, including requiring their staff to wear masks and gloves at all times, and providing hand sanitizing stations at multiple locations throughout the venue. Please note, we will neither request nor require any of our guests to wear masks. Any guest who wishes to wear a mask is welcome to do so, but will need to bring their own.
