Cameron and Judson’s story starts the way many modern love stories do—with a dating app and a bold first move. Not long after moving to Perry, Judson matched with Cameron, who wasted no time making the first move and inviting him out for a drink. Bold from the start… and very on brand. Their first date at The Patio on Carroll Street turned into five hours of nonstop conversation, and by date number two, Cameron felt confident enough to suggest a Braves game in Atlanta—aka a two-hour road trip with a man she had met exactly once. As luck would have it, Judson’s sister Mallory and her family were also there, turning date number two into a surprise meet-the-family moment. Watching Judson as a brother and uncle—especially hearing him called “Juddy”—only made Cameron fall for him a little more. As the weeks went on, so did their time together. What started as weekend plans quickly became something more constant. Whether they were out and about or doing absolutely nothing, they found themselves happiest side by side. Not long after, Cameron introduced Judson to her family, making it clear she saw something lasting in him. From that point on, everything seemed to fall into place. Over the next year, between busy weekends, home projects, and everyday life, their relationship naturally grew into something more permanent.
