What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our loved ones dressed up in formal attire! Late May in Squamish is beautiful - but a little unpredictable, weather wise! Average daytime temps are 12-18C, however, we are in the forest, surrounded by mountains, so the weather systems can be a bit indecisive! We suggest dressing for an outdoor, nature-based celebration. Layers are recommended (blazer, shawls, etc). And choose footwear you're comfortable walking outside in - the ceremony location is a beautiful, flat forest clearing

What if I am unable to travel to Squamish BC?

Answer

Of course we would like to celebrate with all of our loved ones, but we understand that not everyone can make the journey! We would be honored by those who choose to join us and make the trip.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Your invitation includes the guests listed on it only. If you were hoping to bring a plus one, just reach out and ask—we’re happy to chat and see what’s possible!

Can I take photos?

Answer

We appreciate you want to capture the memory! Photos are fine - but we do ask that you keep your phone on silent, and tucked away for the ceremony. We have hired a talented photographer to capture every moment, so our guests can relax, and be present.

Can I smoke at the venue?

Answer

There is one designated area for smokers - the rest of the venue is non-smoking. Our officiant will point out where the smokers area is at the start of the ceremony.
