Kachka

One of the largest urban forests in the US, Forest Park has over 80 miles of hiking trails. We prefer mid morning hikes to avoid the crowds.

Less strenuous than a hike, the Japanese Gardens offer a tranquil and beautiful space to retreat from the city. $20 Admission fee for adults but we think it's worth the price!

Portland Japanese Garden

One of our favorite bars in the city, the Landmark has live country/bluegrass music, a large outdoor patio with fire pits, and a food cart with amazing southern comfort food. Try the Landmark Lager and get the brisket!

Scottish themed restaurant and bar with views of the Willamette. Try the pasties, they're our favorite!
