Is there a dress code for the welcome dinner?

Answer

For the welcome dinner, we kindly ask everyone to dress in semi-formal attire. Ladies, a pretty dress with nice sandals (no flip flops) or wedges is perfect—no need for heels. Gentlemen, dress pants with a button-up shirt (short sleeves are fine) will work great. Please, no jeans.

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

We kindly request formal attire for our wedding. For women, we'd love to see pretty knee-length to long dresses—gowns aren't necessary. For men, a suit would be perfect, but no need for tuxedos. Since it’s springtime in Mexico, feel free to show off your beautiful spring colors, but please leave your aloha shirts in Hawaii and white outfits at home, haha! Also, since the ceremony will be on grass, you may want to reconsider wearing stilettos for your comfort.

How do I get to the wedding venue?

Answer

For those who specified transportation to and from the venue, please meet at the Hyatt Regency Merida at 4:20 pm where there will be designated vehicles available. If you arrive after the arranged transportation departs you will need to find your own way to the venue.

As soon as possible, no later than December 15th, 2024.

Unless specified on your invitation, plus-ones are not allowed.

What airline should we use to fly to Mérida?

Answer

We recommend flying with American Airlines or United, with a layover in Texas. We generally advise against using VivaAerobus, Volaris, Delta, or Aeromexico, unless you are comfortable with Mexican versions of Spirit Airlines or the risk of canceled flights.

What are our plans for the trip?

Answer

We'll be staying at an Airbnb from March 11th to March 21st in Paseo de Montejo. After our wedding, we plan to take a few tours, which will be detailed on the website. Everyone is welcome to join!

How long should I stay for?

Answer

For shorter trips, we suggest arriving on March 13 and departing on March 16. For longer stays, we recommend arriving on March 13 and leaving on March 21.

¿Hay un código de vestimenta para la cena de bienvenida?

Answer

Para la cena de bienvenida, les pedimos amablemente que vistan en atuendo semi-formal. Damas, un vestido bonito con sandalias elegantes o cuñas es perfecto—no es necesario usar tacones. Caballeros, unos pantalones de vestir con una camisa de botones (las mangas cortas están bien) serán ideales. Por favor, eviten los jeans.

¿Hay un código de vestimenta para la boda?

Les pedimos amablemente que vengan con atuendo formal para nuestra boda. Para las mujeres, nos encantaría ver vestidos bonitos de longitud hasta la rodilla o largos; no es necesario que sean de gala. Para los hombres, un traje sería perfecto, pero no es necesario el esmoquin. Dado que es primavera en México, siéntanse libres de lucir sus hermosos colores primaverales, pero por favor dejen sus camisas hawaianas en Hawái y los atuendos blancos en casa, ¡ja, ja! Además, como la ceremonia se llevará a cabo en el césped, pueden reconsiderar usar tacones altos para su comodidad.

¿Cómo llego al lugar de la boda?

Proporcionaremos transporte al lugar desde el centro de Mérida, y compartiremos más detalles pronto. Alternativamente, puedes reservar un taxi, ya que el lugar está a 40 minutos de distancia.

Recomendamos volar con American Airlines o United, con una escala en Texas. Generalmente desaconsejamos usar VivaAerobus, Volaris, Delta o Aeroméxico, a menos que estén cómodos con versiones mexicanas de Spirit Airlines o con el riesgo de vuelos cancelados.
