Cameron and Dylan’s story began at church, where they both participated in a young adult worship group. Thanks to a little encouragement from Garrett (Dylan’s brother-in-law and now groomsman), Cameron reached out — and the rest unfolded from there. Whether navigating directions in a foreign country, cooking meals side by side, or powering through what Cameron swears was Courtney’s “couples counseling disguised as kayaking,” they quickly learned that they balanced each other perfectly. Yard work days, shared adventures, and even challenges never pulled them apart — instead, they grew stronger, always finding ways to lift each other up where the other might fall short. One year after they officially began dating, they took a milestone trip across the world: London, England — Cameron’s very first time out of the country. Together, they explored Hampton Court Palace, Kew Gardens, and the Tower of London, soaking in history, beauty, and plenty of great food. But the most unforgettable moment came on their final night. After seeing Cameron’s favorite musical, Hamilton, at the Victoria Palace Theatre, Cameron turned to Dylan and said, “I don’t know how this day could get any better!” Dylan smiled and replied, “I could think of one thing…” before getting down on one knee. Unbeknownst to Cameron, she had carried around the little black bag with her engagement ring during parts of their trip, never suspecting what was inside. The surprise, the thoughtfulness, and the love in that moment made it a proposal — and a day — neither will ever forget. Now, as Cameron and Dylan step into this next chapter, they do so knowing that together, they are better — balancing, laughing, supporting, and loving each other every step of the way.
