We hope to answer your questions here, but please reach out if anything else comes up :)
Question

What food will be served?

Answer

During the cocktail hour, there will be tray passed hors d'oeuvres and an appetizer station. During the reception, there will be buffet-style food with regular and vegetarian options. And in true Robinson fashion, there will be plenty of desserts served as well.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal/formal cocktail attire: a balance between elegant, comfortable, and classy. Floor length, maxi or midi dresses for women (below the knee). Suit and jackets for men (ties optional). To avoid looking like you're in the wedding party, please refrain from wearing ivory, white, champagne, taupe, and shades of brown.

Question

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All take place at the same venue. The ceremony and reception are outdoors, while cocktail hour will be both indoor and outdoor.

Question

What are weather expectations?

Answer

Typical weather late May in San Juan Capistrano is around 70-75 degrees during the day and 60-65 degrees in the evening. Please check again closer to the wedding. The ceremony and reception are outdoors, so we recommend bringing a jacket.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony, which will be starting promptly at 4:30pm. Doors open at 4:15pm to be seated for the ceremony.

Question

How can I get to the venue?

Answer

Serra Plaza Address: 31910 Del Obispo St, San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675 You are welcome to drive your own vehicle - there will be plenty of free parking spots in front of the venue. Ubers and Lyfts can drop you off right in the front as well. Please drive responsibly!

Question

Where should we park?

Answer

There will be plenty of free parking spots in front of the venue.

Question

Can I bring my kids or a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests that are on your wedding invitation and the RSVP list. This is an adult-only wedding with the exception of immediate family.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! You can bring cash to tip our bartenders.

Question

I'm coming from out of town, where should I stay?

Answer

Please see our "travel" tab for hotel options. You are also welcome to book a nearby Airbnb or VRBO. Cameron's relatives: We recommend staying nearby the venue because close family will also be staying in San Juan Capistrano for the weekend. David's relatives: Please contact local family members and coordinate with them. For reference - Corona/Riverside is about 1 hour from the venue (depending on traffic).
