What hotels should we avoid?

- Courtyard Portland Downtown/Convention Center - Crown Plaza Courtyard Downtown/Convention Center - Hyatt Regency at the Convention Center - DoubleTree by Hilton Portland (avoid the hotels around these hotels in general) - The Society Hotel (looks nice, probably nice price - not a great area) - The Hoxton (same as above)

What neighborhoods would work for an AirBnb?

Answer

Close to venue: - Woodlawn, Dekum, or Alberta - Mississippi Ave (where Cam used to live and loved) - Concordia/NE 33rd - Anywhere in Northwest/Slabtown/Nob Hill/NW 23rd (across the river but still only 10 mins away - more bougie area that Dallas used to live in so we love it there, too) - Belmont/Hawthorne (little further but cute, authentic Portland - still only 10-15 mins away)

Uber, car rental, or what?

Answer

Portland is super Uber/Lyft friendly. Probably your best bet unless you plan to site see outside of Portland proper. We'd avoid public transportation unless you have a weapon :)

Is Portland really that sketch?

It can be. Just stay where we recommend!

With limited space, we're unable to accommodate children at the wedding (exception for babies under 12 months).
