Our paths crossed when we were in high school, where we bonded over a mutual love of star gazing, a fondness of Boy Meets World, and our dreams of moving out of our small towns. After dating for 2 years, we both decided to attend the University of Mississippi. Once we arrived in Oxford, Ms, we found a small town atmosphere not unlike those we were running from. And this “small town” now holds a special place in our hearts. Our love grew deeper through the past four years, as we supported and guided each other through the highs and lows of college life, as we found a mutual love for Thai food, as we listened to Cameron's favorite jazz songs on every 5 hour drive home, as I dragged Cameron around Oxford to explore coffee shops, book stores, and antique malls, as I watched Cameron play endless rounds of golf, and as we continued to grow up together. Oxford became a place that symbolizes our special love story. On July 21st, Cameron asked me to marry him under the night stars with the ring his late father gave his mother. It only made sense for us to plan our ceremony at the chapel on campus, the reception at the Lyric perfectly positioned on the town square, and on the day of my grandparent’s wedding anniversary. We hope our wedding will be the perfect celebration of our two wonderful families becoming one, the life we've held in Oxford, and the next chapter of our love story.
