Portland is known for the vibrancy and uniqueness of its many neighborhoods, each with a distinct sense of place, and — in quirky Portland fashion — spread across four primary "quadrants."
North West
Boasts sophisticated shopping and dining, as well as Forest Park’s urban wilderness and sweeping city views from the historic Pittock Mansion.
South West + S
Downtown Portland Proper; includes many attractions like Washington Park, Oregon Zoo, International Rose Garden & the south waterfront (where we live).
North East
Contains many popular neighborhoods including the Alberta Arts District and Hollywood. Also home to the Moda Center & Rose Quarter — which play host to the NBA & major concerts.
South East
Home to many favorite neighborhoods and business districts, as well as the dormant volcano at Mount Tabor Park.
As a relatively small city, you can travel easily between the four quadrants via Car, Bus, Streetcar, MAX light rail, Biketown Bike-share, or even by foot!
Flight
Portland International Airport (PDX)
PDX is in North East portland. You can get over to the West side of Portland (west of the river) where Christian and I live and where the venue is in 20 minutes or less. You can take a taxi cab or Uber/Lyft from the 3rd platform of passenger pick-up.
