We met when Myranda and Jake invited me to a beach day. Without even knowing Cam existed, I said yes and met them at Jake's mom's house. I was sitting in the room watching Myranda get ready when the most handsome guy walked past the door. It was Cam! I paused and stared at the empty doorway, when Cam stopped and took a few steps back to get another look at me. I felt that moment was truly love at first sight! We enjoyed an amazing beach day that ended in him asking for my number. That turned into texting, calling, flying to see each other for quick weekend trips, and very long FaceTime calls while he was living in Monterey. On October 5, 2019, we made it official. A few months later Cam finished school and moved back home. We had been dating for 4 years when we decided to celebrate Cam's birthday at the beach, getting lunch and beers with our parents. That day turned into the best surprise of my life! On October 21, 2023, Cam got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was the easiest YES of my life! To add to an already perfect day, I turned around to find some of our closest family and friends ready to celebrate us. I cannot wait to marry my soulmate!
