I'll never forget when I met my match. It wasn't long ago, but it was. A lot has changed since then, but our love has remained. We met at Merchants Restaurant in the heart of downtown Nashville on Broadway in the summer of 2009. We were both working, no we weren't' partying, haha. I was outside and she was inside. I ran the valet operation and she had just moved to Nashville recently and worked as a hostess. She had just finished Grad school in California and wanted a change, so Nashville it was. I remember the first time I saw her and obviously I was infatuated with this woman. I had heard from a co-worker that we had the same name! Who would have known we would end up together, I mean what are the chances? So I "casually" checked her out without being noticed, or so I thought, worked up the courage and walked inside the restaurant and asked her if she wanted to go to the pool with me! Great way to start a relationship if you ask me :) Since that time at the pool I fell for her and have always known there was something special about us. Till this day I love her so much and will continue to do so no matter what happens. I'll never forget our first years together, her smile, her laugh, and how she loved me unconditionally. So, that's how we met. God has always been a part of our plan and I believe he has brought us back together to fulfill that plan. Finding the blessing of a love that we have isn't common. It's nothing short of a miracle. It's something that can't be forced or manipulated, it's just us!
