If you have never experienced the iconic Seattle tourist spots, downtown Seattle is approximately 25 minutes from Issaquah. Here you can find Pike Place Market, the original Starbucks, the Gum Wall, The Seattle Aquarium, The Seattle Great Wheel, and more.
If you are in the area for a few days and looking for an outdoor adventure, mid-July through August is known as "wildflower season" at Mount Rainier National Park. The park has two main entrances - Sunset and Paradise. For best wildflower viewing, we would recommend using the trailheads at Paradise. The Paradise Visitors Center is approximately 2.5 hours from Issaquah. Please be sure to check park entrance requirements in advance.
