How do we book our trip for the wedding?

Answer

- Send email to pam@event-serendipity.com - Pam is a professional wedding planner and travel agent. - A group rate has been created for wedding guests who book through Pam McClendon. - Your trip can be booked for a small deposit, and a payment plan may be set up at no extra cost through Pam with the InteleTravel Agency. - The earlier you book, the better the deals are. - You are more than welcome to book your trip on your own, however, Pam will still need to know the booking engine you used and your confirmation numbers in order to have the resort include you in all the wedding festivities.

Will we be required to have a Covid test before returning to the US?

Answer

Currently, you are required to have a Covid test to board the plane home. The resort offers free Covid testing for all guests. You can schedule your test upon arrival, or send an email to schedule it for the day you leave. To make an appointment, please contact: guestservices.mecm@majestic-resorts.com. It is recommended to reserve appointments at least 72-hours prior to your departure time from the resort. Appointment reservations may be made while at the resort unless your stay is 3 days or less you may request the appointment prior to arrival.

Can I bring a date?

If your invite says "and guest", yes. If not, we prefer just you!

What if i find a cheaper rate online?

Answer

Please feel free to shop around for cheaper prices! If you do, email Pam with what you have found. She can then offer price matching. Or, go ahead and book it, then share your confirmation number with Pam in order to be included in the room block!

Is there a minimum stay?

Answer

Yes, rooms must be booked for a minimum of 3 nights.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Answer

- Check-in is at 3:00 PM - Check-out is at 12:00 PM - Although you have to check out of your room before 12pm, you are allowed to enjoy the resort for the duration of that day. Book a later flight to take advantage of this! - Courtesy showers are available in each lobby for the convenience of guests along with luggage storage.

What are child fares?

- Ages 0-2 are free - Ages 2-12 receive a discounted fare when sharing a room with 2 paying adults. - Children sharing a room with one adult pay the adult fare. - Age 13-17 are always charged the adult rate. - This is based on the age at check-in time, not the age when booking the trip.

What if I do not have my passport yet?

- You can book your resort room without the passport. - Airline tickets require a passport.

How do I get a passport?

Answer

- Remember there is only 1 official government office that issues passports and visas in America. https://www.usa.gov/passport - All other places you see when you google are services that charge an additional fee. - That being said, there is one that travel agent often use that can also expedite the process. It is a well trusted high quality service. CIBTvisas Program online at www.cibtvisas.com/inteletravel or call CIBT at 800-577-2428. Be sure to tell them the Inteletravel-CIBT account number: 102209. - When you receive a confirmation email from CIBT, please forward it right away to pam@event-serendipity.com . - Then I can do the follow up to be sure the application is well on its way through the process.

How long does it take to get a passport?

Answer

- You can now get routine (10-12 week) and expedited (four to six week) passport processing by mail and at local acceptance facilities. You can visit a passport agency by appointment only for a life or death emergency. Learn more about the status of passport processing. - During COVID, there is always the possibility that it could take a bit longer. Apply early.

How do I replace a lost passport?

- You must report the loss or theft of an American passport immediately. - To report your passport is lost or has been stolen, you have three options: 1. The fastest way is to use the wizard to submit form DS-64 online 2. By phone: call toll free at 1-877-487-2778 (TTY 1-888-874-7793) 3. By mail: use form DS-64 (PDF, Download Adobe Reader) and mail it to the address on the form - If you are traveling within three weeks, you will need to make an appointment to replace your passport in person at a regional passport facility or center. You will need to bring proof of travel and forms DS-11 and DS-64.

Yes, all travelers regardless of age require a valid passport when leaving the country.

What if my child is traveling without their parents?

- Most often a letter from the parents must accompany the passport upon boarding the plane. - If the parents are divorced, please re-read the divorce decree carefully to see what is required of each parent when traveling out of the country without the other parent.

- Trip insurance is an important decision that depends on your personal preferences. - As a travel agent, Pam recommends trip insurance. She purchases it for her own trips. The options can get confusing. Feel free to give Pam a call at 832-875-4206 so she can explain. - If you are booking your own, read the cancelation policy of the booking engine you are using.
