Angelica was Cameron’s high school crush and they knew each other in passing, but nothing ever happened between them. Almost 10 years later, they reconnected on Instagram, and the rest is history! Their first date was at Las Brisas in Laguna Beach, where they talked about how they dreamed of living there one day. They’ve now been living in Laguna Beach for the past (almost) three years and welcomed their perfect bundle of joy, Hudson, in January 2023. They can’t wait to see what the future holds for the rest of their story and life together.

Cameron told Angelica they were joining some of his “business associates” for a dinner at none other than Las Brisas, where they had their first date. When they checked into the hostess stand and the host declared, “table for two,” Angelica knew something was up. When Cameron ordered a margarita (he never drinks at dinner) and nervously fidgeted throughout dinner, Angelica really knew something was up. They went for a walk together after dinner around Heisler Park, but it was high tide, so they couldn’t walk down to the beach like Cameron had planned. They began to walk along Main Beach, where Angelica, 14 weeks pregnant, was growing tired of all the walking. They finally stopped by a lifeguard tower and a house lit up with string lights, where they enjoyed time in conversation, reflecting on their relationship and how much they loved each other. Cameron finally got down on one knee and asked Angelica to marry him. With a yes (and maybe a few exclamatory profanities), Angelica wholeheartedly agreed to be his wife. There were people at the top of the beach looking down and cheering for the proposal they had just witnessed. The next day, they had so much fun putting on a surprise “family barbecue”, which was really an announcement of their pregnancy and of their new engagement. It was wonderful to share the good news and celebrate with their families. We can’t wait for you to join us to witness our commitment and love for one another as we move forward into this next chapter of our lives as husband and wife!
