Hannah and Cam met as students at BYU back in 2019. Hannah was shooting a volleyball game for the student newspaper, and Cam was working as a ball boy for the team. They didn't start talking right away, but right before Christmas in 2021 they reconnected and started texting almost every day. Cam asked Hannah on a date, and their first date was January 17th, 2022. They went ice skating in Provo and had the best time! More dates followed, and on April 5th, 2022, just a few weeks before graduating from BYU, they made things official. After graduation, Hannah moved to Lehi and Cam stayed in Provo, and they both started working full time. They spent their free time together as much as possible. Hannah loved that Cam always had fun date ideas and was down for anything. Cam loved that Hannah was fun to talk to and that their conversations were never boring. In the summer of 2023, Cam moved to Florida and started medical school at UCF in Orlando. Hannah stayed in Utah, and they've been doing long distance ever since. Over the past three years they've taken around 30 round trip flights to see each other. They've made a point to see each other at least every other month, and every visit has been worth every mile! When they're together in Florida they love going to the beach, visiting Disney World and Universal Studios, playing pickleball, and getting beignets at Disney Springs. One of their favorite memories is a spring break trip up to Rainbow Springs and Silver Springs in Florida, complete with kayaking, swimming, and a gator. After three years apart, the finish line is finally in sight! Cam accepted a research position at the University of Arkansas, and this summer, they're closing the distance for good. They're finally getting married and moving together to Little Rock. They’ll stay in Arkansas for the 2026–2027 school year before heading back to Orlando for Cam to finish medical school. They couldn’t be more excited to be starting the next chapter of their lives together!
