Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Lainey Bodenburg and Cameren Hicks
Planning to stay in Cleveland for a bit and want to explore? Here is a list of some of our favorite places!

Western Reserve Distillers

14221 Madison Avenue, Lakewood, OH 44107

Our favorite cocktail bar that is worth the trip from your stay downtown! Their food menu is also fabulous, with rotating seasonal items. But the main attraction for us is their extensive cocktail menu, from classics to more experimental offerings. We went to one of their cocktail classes the day we got engaged!

Momocho

1835 Fulton Road, Cleveland, OH 44113

The food in Cleveland is fabulous, and Momocho is one of our go-to recommendations when people come to visit. Modern Mexican fare tucked in an old house in Ohio City. Their margaritas, guacamole, and taquitos are some of our favorites. Please note that they do not take reservations.

Mason's Creamery

4401 Bridge Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44113

Yes it will be December, but it is never too cold for ice cream (in our opinion). Mason's Creamery offers super unique ice cream flavors on a daily rotation. In the winter, they also offer ramen!

Addy's Diner

530 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44115

We used to go to Addy's a lot when we lived downtown and also went there the day we got engaged! Classic diner food in the Cleveland Arcades surrounded by other shops.

Amba

1430 West 28th Street, Cleveland, OH 44113

Amba offers Indian cuisine in a tapas/shareable plates style menu. The restaurant is moody and romantic, with creative drinks. They do not take reservations. If you find yourself on the east side of Cleveland, also check out Zhug, a Middle Eastern restaurant concept by the same chef (Douglas Katz).

Soho Chicken + Whiskey

4211 Lorain Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44113

Brunch, dinner, or drinks here. You can't go wrong! Southern cuisine with an abundance of vegan options.

Visible Voice Books

4601 Lorain Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44102

Visible Voice Books has opened their new location in Ohio City in a historic theater, with a super creative design showcasing the old stage used for events. They sell used and new books and now offer food and drinks!

The Cleveland Museum of Art

11150 East Boulevard, Cleveland, OH 44106

Dobama Theatre

2340 Lee Road, Cleveland Heights, OH 44118

Dobama Theatre was the first place Lainey designed a production in Cleveland! They offer new plays and their winter show is "A Sherlock Carol."

Playhouse Square

1501 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44115

Experience Playhouse Square's classic seasonal production of "A Christmas Carol!"

Cleveland Rocks Climbing

2831 Franklin Boulevard, Cleveland, OH 44113

One of Cam's favorite past times is bouldering! Cleveland Rocks is located in Ohio City. If you find yourself on the east side of the city, also check out Cam's favorite climbing gym: Shaker Rocks.

West Side Market

1979 West 25th Street, Cleveland, OH 44113

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

1100 East 9th Street, Cleveland, OH 44114

"A Christmas Story" House

3159 West 11th Street, Cleveland, OH 44109

Still feeling the Christmas spirit? The house from "A Christmas Story" is just a few blocks from our apartment. A fun nod to classic Christmas movie history, there is a museum inside, though this can also be a fun place to drive by while in the area.
