Far from wanting to be considered helpless romantics, Camden and Robb thought it best not to meet before agreeing to go out with each other. Their sophomore year of college, the two set out in the mountains for a weekend getaway on the good word of their two best friends, who had a premonition that they might get along. This feeling turned out to be fateful as the two were quick to become friends, and, even though it took a bit longer, they built a romantic connection upon that friendship. From their roots in college, they grew together and built a community in Denver based upon great friends, strong family connections, and a promise to always stay true to their friendship. Two wonderful ladies, Cleo the pup and Boo the kitty, came into their lives at this juncture, and, for Camden and Robb's first time, they truly felt that they were building a family. Friends, family, and community had always provided them both great love and support, but now they were creating a microcosm of life that fell entirely under their own responsibility. This was intimidating and unexplored and new, yet it was wholly their own and built upon a friendship that had grown strong enough to only be described as love. And now we come to their marriage, which likely came a bit later than many of you reading this expected it would. As with nearly everything else in their relationship, it simply felt like the right thing to do at that given time. Buoyed by an unbroken friendship, these major life decisions - moving in together, adopting pets together, buying a house together, marrying each other - always came with the ease of knowing that they were diving into these decisions together, decisions made much easier knowing you're making them with your best friend.
