We met during our sophomore year of high school when Cam quick added me on Snapchat. We started out as friends, but it didn’t take long before neither of us could hide how we truly felt. From the very beginning, we shared so many of the same interests and could talk for hours without ever running out of things to say. Like many young relationships, we had our ups and downs. At times, we let small things create distance between us, but no matter what, we always found our way back. There was something about our connection that felt different. It was genuine and easy unlike anything we had ever experienced before. We ended up dating for about three years, growing up alongside each other. Eventually, life pulled us in different directions due to miscommunication and circumstances beyond our control. Deep down, we both held onto the idea that if it was meant to be, we would find our way back to each other. About two years later, we reconnected, and this time, everything was different. We had both grown into new versions of ourselves. We were more mature, more understanding, and better at communicating. Most importantly, we chose to center our relationship around Christ through the Orthodox church, building a stronger, more intentional foundation. Now, we are closer than ever, with our love growing stronger each day. What we had all those years ago never truly faded. Not even time and distance could take that away. We feel incredibly blessed to have found our way back to each other, and we can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together, surrounded by the people we cherish most.
We’ve shared so many memories together, and each one means the world to us. We wanted to highlight a few of our favorites so you can get a glimpse into who we are as a couple. As many of you know, we traveled to Greece in March 2026. It was our first trip abroad together and our first big trip, just the two of us. It felt like something out of a dream. From the architecture and deep, layered history to the incredible food and warm, welcoming people, every moment was unforgettable. We explored multiple islands, visited countless breathtaking Orthodox churches, and even received a blessing from a priest. It felt like home away from home. As if that weren’t enough, we got engaged at the very top of Athens, overlooking the entire city. It’s a moment we’ll cherish for the rest of our lives. We’ve also been lucky enough to visit Disney World twice together. On our first trip, we confidently got on what we thought was a calm, kid-friendly water ride (the video in line definitely misled us). It started off easy enough… until we turned a corner and began climbing a steep hill. Panic quickly set in, especially for Cam, who was not a fan of big drops at the time. Before we knew it, we were going down a massive drop and somehow came out the other side loving it. That moment sparked our appreciation for thrill rides. When we returned a few years later, we found ourselves riding coasters we never would have dared to try before. Our favorite quickly became Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, RIP. Now we’re always chasing that same thrill, though we’ve come to accept that nothing quite compares to Disney. Some of our favorite memories are much simpler. We’ve spent countless nights playing video games together. There’s something special about ordering food, getting cozy, and playing co-op. “Seven minutes. Seven minutes is all I can spare to play with you.” If you know, you know. We’ve also had our fair share of intense Minecraft phases. Cam handling all the technical builds and survival work, while I focus on collecting pets, finding flowers, and making our house feel like home. Beyond gaming, we also share a love for anime, which has become another fun part of our relationship. One of our favorites is JoJo’s Bizarre Adventures. We love the creativity, humor, and iconic side characters. It’s become a shared comfort and something we genuinely enjoy doing together. We feel incredibly grateful for all the memories we’ve made so far and everything we’ve built together. While trips like Greece and Disney have been unforgettable, it’s the everyday moments that make our relationship so fun and meaningful. We’re so excited for everything that’s ahead and feel so lucky to have each of you in our lives. Thank you for being part of our story.
