Camden and I were introduced long before we fell in love all the way back in highschool! At the time I happened to be going with his best friend and the first night we met was at a bonfire in Camden’s parents house where he was hosting a little backyard party. I remember when I first had saw him I thought wow he is definitely the cutest boy at this party! Flash forward five years we both happened to be invited to the same wedding and the week beforehand we ran into eachother at my favorite local bar at the time and Camden spotted me from all the way across the bar and nothing would stop him from coming over! After the most delightful exchange he asked for my number which I happily gave him, but in his excitement he took down the wrong number. After a week of not being contacted I had written him out of my mind and decided to sassily ignore him for the entire night of our friends wedding, but no matter how hard I tried to avoid his eye contact he was the most persistent and made sure I would not forget him. It did not take much convincing I swooned immediately over my highschool crush. The following weekend he took me to the Indiana Dunes for our first date, and the rest was history! Soon after we welcomed our first child our relationship had been tested, and pulled so paper thin like never before and during that period of intense trials we knew that we not only great partners and friends, but we had found the person that our souls needed to take on the rest of our lives with. To bring a child into such a new relationship can be so very difficult and painful to navigate, and we had the choice to either give it up or to fight for our family, and when we chose to fight we created the most raw and beautiful love story that has only just begun. As our family continues to grow we are beyond excited to finally become whole in the eyes of the Lord and to display our fervent commitment to one another to all of our loved ones. We cannot wait to start our journey to forever ❤️
