FAQs

If you have any other questions that aren't listed here, please reach out to Kaitlynn at (317) 332-2302.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please let us know by September 12, 2026 — we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, please click on the "RSVP" tab on our website and fill out the online form. Please RSVP at your earliest convenience and no later than September 12, 2026. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Question

What if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

If you don't RSVP by September 12, 2026, you will be marked as "not attending". We would love to celebrate with you, however, we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVPs. (This will mean you are not allowed to show up on our wedding day. There will be no seating, food, or drink accommodations for you.)

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we would love to invite all of the children, we can only accommodate a few close family children. We are asking that guests refrain from bringing children, unless noted on your invitation. We hope that you understand our decision and are still able to join us on our special day.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest family and friends. Due to space limitations, we are only able to accommodate those listed on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to see you!

Question

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both take place indoors, while the cocktail hour is planned for outdoors—weather permitting. Please keep in mind that Michigan weather in October can be unpredictable! The average temperature around this time is a high of 59°F and a low of 48°F, so we recommend dressing in layers and bringing a light jacket just in case.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes — we kindly ask that guests wear cocktail attire. For women: Cocktail dresses, stylish jumpsuits, or a dressy skirt and top are all great choices. Dresses can be knee-length, midi, or even ankle-length if you prefer a more modest or elegant look. For men: A suit or dress pants with a dress shirt is perfect. Ties are welcome but not required. Also, please keep in mind that Michigan weather in October can be unpredictable — it might be warm during the day or quite chilly by evening. We recommend checking the forecast and dressing accordingly or bringing a layer to stay comfortable. Our wedding colors are olive green, black, and gold, so if you'd like to coordinate with our color palette, feel free — but no pressure! And a gentle reminder: Please avoid wearing white, as that color is reserved for the bride. We can't wait to celebrate with you in style!

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

If you’re unable to attend, please let us know by indicating your response on the RSVP. We’ll miss you, but we appreciate you letting us know so we can plan accordingly.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive by 4:30 PM— the ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM, and the doors will be closed at that time to avoid interruptions. We can’t wait to see you there!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We’re registered at Zola, Amazon, and Target. Please see the "registry" tab for more information — thank you so much for your love and generosity!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

To an extent, yes! Please make sure to note any food allergies or dietary restrictions when you RSVP, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes — there will be plenty of parking available for both the ceremony and reception. Guests are also welcome to leave their cars overnight if they don’t feel comfortable driving home or to their hotel at the end of the night. Your safety is important to us!

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! We’ll have an open bar—drinks are on us, but the hangover’s on you. 🍻 Come ready to raise a glass (or a few) and celebrate with us in style!

Question

Can I bring my own alcoholic beverages?

Answer

We kindly ask that you don’t bring your own alcohol. Due to venue policies and regulations, outside alcoholic beverages aren’t allowed on the premises. But don’t worry—we’ve got you covered with an open bar all night long!

Question

Where can I find accomodation options for out-of-town guests?

Answer

We’re currently working on securing hotel room blocks and will share the details as soon as they’re available. In the meantime, please visit the Travel tab and complete the short survey there—this will help us make sure we arrange accommodations that best suit everyone’s needs.

Question

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We’ll kick things off with appetizers during cocktail hour. For dinner, guests can choose between a chicken or beef entrée, accompanied by a couple of delicious sides. And of course, we’ll wrap things up on a sweet note with dessert!

Question

What if I want to change my meal selection?

Answer

If you would like to change your choice for dinner, feel free to reach out directly to Kaitlynn (317-332-2302) or go through the RSVP process again, where you'll be able to re-select your meal option. Meal options will be locked in on September 12, 2026, once RSVPs are due, so please make sure to update them before that date.
