FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

There's no specific dress code! Personally, I love any excuse to put on a nice dress and dress up, so I’d love for you to do the same! Feel free to wear whatever makes you comfortable, but if you want to dress your best and feel fabulous, go for it! Just keep in mind that since it's an outdoor wedding, if you're planning to wear heels, you might want to bring something to change into later in the night for added comfort.

Question

Will there be a plus-one?

Answer

The RSVP list is for the names that appear on your invitation. If you'd like to bring a plus-one, please reach out to either the bride or groom, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Keep in mind that planning a wedding is time-consuming, and getting an accurate headcount is very important. We kindly ask that you reach out in a timely manner with any plus-one requests or concerns, so we can plan accordingly!

Question

Can I bring children?

Answer

As this is a Christian wedding, we are absolutely welcoming your children with open arms! That said, we also want to give you the chance to enjoy the night stress-free, so if you're able to, we encourage you to take a little break and celebrate the evening. As mentioned earlier, the RSVP list is for the names that appear on your invitation. If your child’s name is not listed, please reach out to either the bride or groom, and we’ll happily add them to the guest count. Children under 2 may not appear on the RSVP list since they won’t be taking up a seat. We look forward to celebrating with your whole family!

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, simply click on the RSVP icon located at the top right of the homepage. It will guide you through the process step by step. If, for any reason, you’re unsure if your RSVP went through, don’t hesitate to reach out to either the bride or groom, and we’ll be happy to confirm. We kindly ask that all RSVPs be completed by April 24th.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are so excited to have a talented professional photographer capturing our special day! In order for her to get the best shots and truly capture the moment, we kindly ask that we go unplugged during the ceremony. We’d love for you to be present, enjoy the moment, and leave the photos to the expert. Thank you for understanding!

Question

What happens if the weather is bad?

Answer

Don't worry about a thing! We’ve prepared a spacious tent just in case it rains, so everyone will stay dry and comfortable. We’re ready for whatever weather comes our way, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you—rain or shine!

Question

What time does the reception end?

Answer

We’ll start to pack things up around 11:30 PM, with the venue needing to be cleared by 12:00 AM. Feel free to enjoy the party until then, and we’ll make sure everyone has a great time until the very end!

Question

Is there a wedding registry?

Answer

We’re not doing a traditional gift registry. Instead, we’ve created a honeymoon fund for those who wish to contribute. Your presence at our wedding is already the greatest gift, but if you'd like to help us make our dream honeymoon a reality, we would be so grateful for any contribution! You can find all the details under the icon labeled “Registry.”

Question

Will there be a open bar?

Answer

We won’t be having an open bar, but we will be providing an assortment of beers, wine, and a signature cocktail while supplies last. If there's something specific you'd like to drink, feel free to bring your own! Heck, bring a cooler if you want! As this is a Christian wedding, and given the venue's distance from hotels and our hometown, we thought this would be the best option to keep things simple and fun for everyone.

Question

What should I do if I need to cancel or change my RSVP?

Answer

We completely understand that emergencies or last-minute situations can come up. If you need to cancel or make any changes to your RSVP, please reach out to either the bride or groom as soon as possible. We’ll still appreciate your support, even if we’re unable to have you with us on our special day.

Question

Will there be transportation provided?

Answer

Unfortunately, we will not be providing transportation to and from the venue. It is up to each individual to make their own arrangements prior to the event. Please keep in mind that the nearest hotel is about 27 minutes away from the venue. If you plan on drinking, we kindly ask that you arrange for a designated driver (DD) or other safe transportation. We would hate to hear about any accidents on our special day, so please be responsible and plan ahead!

Question

Are there any hotels nearby for out-of-town guests?

Answer

I’ve found two of the best hotel options that are as close as possible to the venue, and I highly recommend them. Please keep in mind that there aren’t many hotels near the venue—the closest one I found is about 27 minutes away, so be sure to book your room as soon as possible! There are a few other options that are slightly closer, but I’m not comfortable recommending them due to their low reviews. It’s up to each guest to book their own accommodations, but I wanted to provide you with the best options I could find!
