Daniel and Cammie met at Southeastern Oklahoma State University through the Baptist Collegiate Ministry. Their mutual friend, Malori Pletcher, encouraged Daniel to ask Cammie out on a date — so he finally did...after four months of working up the courage. They went on their first date to paint pottery and eat at Texas Roadhouse on December 27, 2023. A couple of weeks later, on January 11, 2024, Daniel asked her to be his girlfriend. After almost two years of dating, Daniel proposed on November 21, 2025, at Waterloo Park in Denison, TX — and she said yes!
