Our favorite Virginia winery! We joined in February 2020 (not the best timing) and come here every time we visit.
A beautiful spot with delicious (dry) ciders - and the site of our first outing after quarantine (s/o to Erica)!
Super cute tasting room with craft rums, gins, other spirits, and great cocktails!
Where we had our first date - a smaller spot nestled in the Blue Ridge foothills just down the road from our wedding venue. (Bonus points if you back into a car while getting a nightcap at Pro Re Nata afterwards.)
If you know, you know. An awesome, affordable breakfast option. There are also two other locations in Charlottesville. We highly recommend sausage, egg, and cheddar on an everything bagel as our go-to after a late night, or herb cream cheese on everything for something a little lighter. However, we would also recommend picking up coffee from somewhere else unless you like an "earthy" roast.
A great lunch spot with fresh grain bowls and salads. Haley ate the El Jefe approximately 3 times a week during law school.
Andrew's favorite BBQ spot in the area with some great pulled pork and sides. Haley remains a Texas loyalist.
If you're feeling fancy, this is Haley's favorite spot!
Our favorite pizza place in the area! Small spot that doesn't do reservations, so arrive early. They have a great wine list, and you get to cut the pizza with giant scissors, which is pretty cool.
It's a UNESCO World Heritage site! Plus, the Lawn is a great place to eat your Roots.
