It was spring 2012 and Deon was attending Troy University. Cambrai decided one weekend to take a trip to Troy and visit her bestfriend, Lynsi. Lynsi happened to be close with Deon’s roommates and they ended up at Deon’s for a house party. There was instant chemistry the whole night but as the weekend ended Cambrai headed back to Florida State. In the world of social media, they stayed in contact and five years later their relationship became something more. Its true when they say timing is everything!

After meeting and going their separate ways, In April of 2017 they reconnected and its been an adventure ever since. It began as a long distance relationship, but only for a few short months. Deon moved from Alabama to Florida later that year and this is when they truly started their lives together. Since then, they’ve continud to grow together with their two dogs, Duke & Saint. Fast forward two and a half years later, Deon and Cambrai bought a house together in Pensacola. It was a few weeks after that, Deon planned a surprise engagement video and proposal on September 4, 2019. As shocked as Cambrai was, she said yes! They cant wait to celebrate with friends & family!
